https://jurnal.insida.ac.id/index.php/attadrib/article/view/841

This study explores the readiness of madrasahs to implement a deep learning-based curriculum from the perspective of educators. As technology advances and digital skills become increasingly important in education, integrating deep learning approaches is expected to improve learning quality in Islamic schools. Using a qualitative case study method, this research was conducted in several madrasahs that have begun incorporating technology into their teaching practices. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with educators and classroom observations. The findings show a strong interest among teachers in applying deep learning strategies. However, several challenges hinder effective implementation, including limited access to technology, lack of professional training, and insufficient understanding of deep learning concepts. Despite these issues, most teachers expressed willingness to adapt and learn, provided they received adequate support from schools and the government. The study concludes that three key factors determine the success of deep learning curriculum implementation in madrasahs: (1) continuous professional development for teachers, (2) sufficient technological infrastructure, and (3) a deeper understanding of the pedagogical value of deep learning. This study implies that successful implementation requires collaboration from all parties. The government should provide policies and funding for teacher training and technology access. Madrasahs must facilitate ongoing learning opportunities, while teachers should remain open to improving their digital and pedagogical skills. With strong collaboration, deep learning can be effectively integrated, enhancing the quality of Islamic education in the digital age.
Fil Isnaeni, Septian Arief Budiman, Nurjaya Nurjaya, Mukhlisin Mukhlisin

This study aims to examine the role of the family environment in shaping religious moderation attitudes in children in Nggeru Kopa Village, Palama, a multicultural area inhabited by communities of Islam, Catholicism, and Protestantism. In this context of diversity, the family plays a strategic role as the main agent in instilling values of tolerance, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence. The study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the research include parents, community leaders, and elementary school children residing in the village. The findings show that families instill religious moderation through familial approaches, role modeling, and value education from an early age. This moderation practice is reflected in daily life, such as respecting differences in beliefs, engaging in interfaith communication, and participating in social activities together. Universal values such as empathy, honesty, and justice are also taught as part of character education. However, there are challenges faced, such as economic limitations and the influence of a closed social environment, which may hinder the internalization of moderation values. This study concludes that families play a crucial role in shaping moderate character in children within a pluralistic society. The implications of these findings suggest the need for strengthening family capacity through support programs and collaboration with educational institutions and local religious leaders to create an inclusive and harmonious social ecosystem.
Dian Rosela, Wahyu Mulyadi, Yayuk Kusumawati

https://jurnal.insida.ac.id/index.php/attadrib/article/view/875

This study is driven by the urgency to strengthen students' character through the implementation of the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), as mandated by the Kurikulum Merdeka. However, its implementation at the primary school level particularly in resource-limited settings such as SD Negeri 3 Bucu Jepara faces various complex challenges. The aim of this study is to evaluate the execution of P5, identify the encountered obstacles, and formulate adaptive and contextual improvement strategies. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity was ensured using source and technique triangulation, and the analysis followed the interactive model by Miles and Huberman. The findings reveal that while P5 has created space for meaningful contextual learning, its implementation remains suboptimal. The main barriers include limited parental involvement, insufficient teacher competence in designing project-based learning, and a lack of supporting infrastructure. Additionally, technical and social constraints such as students’ financial limitations, ineffective group dynamics, and resistance from some parents toward activities requiring additional contributions were also identified. To address these issues, several strategic recommendations are proposed: intensifying parental engagement, enhancing teacher competence through practical training, utilizing local potentials as alternative learning resources, and conducting reflective evaluations involving all stakeholders. Through a collaborative and context-based approach, P5 implementation holds strong potential as a foundation for internalizing the noble values of Pancasila within students. This research highlights the need to address challenges in implementing P5, especially in schools with limited resources. The findings suggest that increasing parental involvement, improving teacher training, and utilizing local resources can improve P5’s effectiveness. Additionally, the study calls for policy support to strengthen infrastructure and materials. Overall, this research contributes to the discussion on improving the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in areas with socio-economic challenges.
Andrew Fernando, Erna Zumratun

This study examines the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile within the Independent Curriculum for fifth-grade Pancasila Education at SDN 16 Dampelas. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data was collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and the principal, and document analysis. Findings indicate successful integration of core character values including religious devotion, global diversity awareness, mutual cooperation, independence, critical thinking, and creativity. These values were cultivated through daily routines such as pre-lesson prayers, group collaborative work, cultural appreciation activities, and classroom discussions. However, the study identified implementation challenges, particularly teachers' limited conceptual understanding of the Pancasila Student Profile framework, attributable to insufficient training opportunities under the new curriculum. Only a small percentage of teaching staff had received comprehensive curriculum training. The study recommends expanded professional development programs and ongoing mentoring to enhance implementation quality and ensure consistent application across all grade levels. The implication of this study highlights the need for improving teachers' understanding and skills in implementing the Pancasila Student Profile, particularly within the context of the Independent Curriculum. Comprehensive and ongoing training programs are essential to support the development of students' character in line with Pancasila values. This will strengthen the integration of national values and enrich students' learning experiences, resulting in a generation with strong competencies and character to face global challenges.
Shakina Shakina, Nashrullah Nashrullah, Sisriawan Lapasere, Arif Firmansyah, Muslim A.R
